Yoga for faculty and staff provides an opportunity to connect, stretch and clear the mind. The classes are structured for employee wellness and follow a basic Hatha style of yoga, carefully themed to deepen ones practice with an interdisciplinary approach. Classes include precise instruction of beginner and intermediate yoga poses, breath work, and guided relaxation. The Yoga Project offers yoga to staff and faculty members as we believe in the importance of yoga to complement the busy academic environment. Just as students need an opportunity to release and explore their practice, we strongly feel staff and faculty members immensely benefit from a regular yoga practice to still the mind, stretch the body and free the senses.
